Prince Rock Garages first started trading in 1951, when Francis 'Frank' Tonkin bought a parcel of land after returning from the Army.
With the help of his father, he built a workshop and began to build a clientbase. The opportunity arose in 1961 for him to purchase the adjacent land and expand. The original workshop became a showroom as he took on a BMW dealership as an authorised service centre.
Frank worked with his son Paul for the best part of 15 yeas and in 2008 the business was inherited by Paul and his daughter Francine. A 'family' business in the true sense of the word, we are small enough to care about you and your safety and old enough to have the experience and stability many garages lack.
